EVERYTIME!

I was told by several preachers that, “you have not preached your 1^st sermon until somebody gets saved.” So I have been busy. I lived in Charlotte, NC for 4 years. God used me to win 122 souls as a minister there. Here in Portland, Oregon, the current count is 64 souls as a Pastor in July 2015. That’s right…186 souls have been won because I am allowing God to use me. Although this does not seem like a large number, it is better than zero.

Satan keeps a count of EVERYTIME he tricks us, fools us, and prospers because of our weakness. Because of this, I am keeping a count of EVERYTIME God uses me to help someone get their name written into the "Lamb's Book of Life.” What they do afterwards, of course, is their responsibility (Philippians 2:12). My job is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. But Salvation is more than just having your name written in the book. It is about relationship. EVERYTIME God wakes us up, we should be thanking Him, honoring Him, and praising Him for His goodness.

Prayer for the week: Father, create in me a clean heart and renew the right spirit within me. Bless me to serve you EVERYTIME You wake me up. In Jesus mighty name, Amen!
